EARLY-ACCESS DATA INFORMATION

Privacy & your business data

Kahera POS stores your business configuration, products, cashier identities, subscription credits, and synchronized sales and shift records on its server. Android terminals also keep local records to support offline checkout.

Who can access records?

Business accounts can access their own sales and cashier reports. Vendor and System application roles manage their permitted accounts, credits, and subscriptions without access to business sales reports. This role separation does not mean the hosting operator has no technical database access.

Your Android device

The app uses internet access to synchronize records. Nearby-device/Bluetooth permission is requested for compatible receipt printers. Device credentials use Android Keystore protection. App backups are disabled to prevent copying a terminal subscription to another installation.

Alerts, preferences and updates

Optional Android notifications report subscription and sync status. Website alerts refresh from Kahera while your workspace is open. No Firebase service is used. Sound and motion preferences are stored on your device. The Android app contacts the official release endpoint to check for updates; downloads and installation require your confirmation.

Exports and retention

Businesses can export synchronized records through their workspace. Local terminal backups can be saved from the app. Records are retained until an authorized retention or deletion process is arranged; automatic deletion is not enabled in this early-access release. Unsynchronized records may be lost if a device is lost, reset, or app storage is cleared.

Support and account requests

Contact the vendor or business administrator who created your account for access, correction, recovery, or data requests. Operator contact details and final production retention terms will be added before general availability.
